Myo-Fix Concentrate contains peptides which gradually immobilise the parts of facial muscles that are intertwined with the skin. Eventually muscles stop being able to fully contract and remain relaxed, making expression lines less pronounced. We do use the term ‘muscle paralysis’ to describe this effect, as, unlike botulinum toxin, Myo-Fix Concentrate doesn’t affect the muscle’s partial mobility. A more relaxed muscle is slower to react to various stimuli, and the skin tends to crease much less.
